Species: Miraluka. The Miraluka are one of the few species in the galaxy that rely heavily on the force in day to day life and possess a very high affinity to becoming Jedi or Sith. Being one of the near-human species they are almost indistinguishable from them other than their defining characteristic, their lack of eyes. Miraluka wear masks to cover where their eyes would be as a cultural norm, underneath this mask one would see that in fact skin covers the empty sockets since they rely on the force to "See". Their original home world is not clear, all that is known is that it became uninhabitable and they migrated to the planet Alpheridies in the Abron system on the edge of a giant molecular cloud called The Veil adopting it as their new home. Miraluka generally do not seek out conflict and their society as a norm conflicts with the Sith teachings making Miraluka Sith rare but Jedi common, there are of course exceptions.

All Miraluka are connected to the force, that is simply a fact. The Miraluka do not have visual organs to see (eyes) due to the fact that the Abron system's red dwarf star emitted light mostly in the infra-red spectrum and slowly the species lost it's ability to see light in the visible spectrum that humans and many other beings see every day. It is due to this process of evolution that the species' dormant ability to "See" through the force grew stronger until there was skin over their now empty eye sockets and they would view the world around them through the force making no conscious effort.

Abilities: 

​

Advanced Force Sight - Since Kaiya is Miralukan, she was born with the ability to passively use the force

to 'see' with zero effort. Due to this, Kaiya cannot distinguish colors but can perceive organics

easily from her surroundings. Due to their "Aura" Kaiya can tell just by looking at someone what their

alignment is to the force. Most objects such as doors and walls appear translucent

(And yes this includes clothes) allowing her to view what is on the other side. This also means that

camouflage, smoke, generic stealth field generators, and the effects of the elements do not work on

Kaiya, making hiding from her an almost impossible task. Some powerful Miraluka are even capable of viewing across the galaxy to find individuals strong in the force, however these cases are extremely rare, and have only ever been done in desperation.

Disadvantages of  Advanced Force Sight - Viewing a computer terminal when unable to distinguish colors makes it much harder as Kaiya must take the time to carefully pick apart the different shades. Droids, while visible to her, are much harder to see and only have a faint thrum of energy when compared to a living being making a droid ambush super effective against her and the same thing goes for other types of machinery.

Enhanced reflexes - Since Kaiya is so strongly connected to the force through her Force Sight, thus so are her reflexes. It's hard for her to be caught off guard because her field of vision extends 360°, and her constant subconscious use of the force as well.

** Kaiya's eyes -  Some Miraluka's have eyes.. Kaiya had not been born with them. They were... 'gifted' to her by an unknown Sith as an experiment. They sometimes change colors with her mood.. and glow purple if she's switched to ultraviolet vision. She cannot use her force vision and her optical vision at the same time. If Kaiya closes her eyes for a few moments.. her Miralukan force vision returns to her.
